clipboard tool ClipMate enhances the native Windows clipboard functionality by remembering all items (both text and graphic) that are copied to the clipboard and storing them in "collections" for later pasting. You will never accidentally lose a piece of clipboard data again! The program includes tons of features including options to revisit web pages, launch URLs, view thumbnail images, convert text to HTML and much more. The ClipBoard Explorer allows you to edit selected items, clean up text entries, spell check text, take screen captures and much more. All data is stored in a relational database, that advanced users can query, using standard SQL. Additional features include optional encryption, network support and much more. Even though development stopped already a while ago, ClipMate still is by far the best clipboard manager. From my point of view: THE standard. Likely because there are so many 'free' Clipboard managers available, users are hardly willing to pay for this software. As it stands now, Thornsoft will not come up with a new version. I have compared many tools but haven't found one that really comes close to ClipMate. Maybe ClipCache Pro (payware) but apart from some really minor updates, the last major release was back in 2010. This is the best clipper on the web. I have had it for years. The developer and his wife are friendly and helpful and deal with questions themselves. Highly recommended show Review details
