I have a fast pc but yowza does this gobble everything up. if you give it a try just know you will have to restart your computer after installing. i gave it high marks simply because i know of no other android emulator out there right now and they asked for feedback of why you decided to un-install it.

Free version still restricts user to 5 rules. I'm sooooo glad I hung onto a copy of V5.60, which was still free, and fully functional.

I'm using Windows 11 in 2024 and this software is still amazing! I've never tried it before, but I needed something and almost bought a program. This one is free. I almost didn't try it since the last reviews were in 2011. Since it works great, I thought I'd leave a review in case anyone else was leery about trying it.

There are other programs like IDM that are good. However, I chose to buy IDM because it is a complete download manager, with several features, configuration options, an easy-to-understand interface, it works efficiently, the support works, and the price is fair.

First of all, downloading/updating was a nightmare. I've tried 3-4 times. And when the program started, there is no FREE option to record the sound from the screen, only from mic. Sorry... but... uninstall!

There is an option to choose the percentage or size of the file that you want to resize. And that's it. You can't choose other options.

I wanted to trim off the front of a video. I set up the trim marks, then the app would automatically switch and trim the end of the video. I repeated the steps many time. 100 failure. I then shut down, tried over and tried starting from the last first so not repeating same problems. I attempted to trim, the lines jumped and again cut of the wrong end. I gave up. I jumped online, searched trim video. Found one that looked appropriate. I loaded video, set trim lines, clicked save. Took 10 SECONDS. I spent over 1.5 HOURS FUSSING with LOSSLESSCUT. The program is TERRIBLE, does not have intuitive settings, has a mind of its own, and long learning curve for what it does do. Repeating, I gave up. I wasted over 1.5 hours on LOSSLESSCut, and did the job in less than 30 seconds with a free online service. LOSSLESSCUT is GARBAGE and needs a redesign.

I have been using this software for well over a decade and it has been invaluable for storing information and keeping up with what needs to be done. I have been very pleased with the upgrades and the integration with Google made it even better. My two top features I use is the calendar and notes function.

I've been wanting a software that would do this for 24 years now, and I finally stumbled across this. Darkens everything but the window your working on. You can click on the taskbar and the whole screen dims with just the taskbar lighted. This program comes in real handy at night. Very little resources used. I haven't fooled with the options yet, I don't think I need to. I wouldn't know how to anyway, since it doesn't explain how to set them, or I may be stupid. Anyways I love it.

I updated to W10 and discovered that my Canoscan 8600F would no longer work. This was because Microsoft, in all its wisdom, decided that it didn't want me using Twain modules anymore and that I should buy another scanner. This program bypassed MS's nonsense and allowed me to use my scanner again. Unfortunately, NAPS2 shuts down the twain module after I only do one scan. I have file folders of documents that I need to batch scan and that limitation prevents me from doing so. Because of this limitation, I can only recommend this program as a last resort. If you want to do batch scanning, download Irfanview which does allow batch scanning. It even autosaves the scans.

This is a wonderful tool which came in handy when running on my old Windows NT system. The interface is easy to use and navigate. It a good to keep it handy on one of your CDDVD ISO boot tools.

HandBrake make it easy to do video conversions. They keep updating the software so it is good to see that that author is maintaining it and adding features. It has tons of video setting to match the type of video devices you may want to play a particular video on, so cool. Great Utility!

Nirsoft has updated their easy to use tool for uninstalling software. The interface is simple to follow with some visual preferences for displaying the rows in different shades. If you want to get things done this tool is for you. No install necessary and supports both 32 and 64 bit platforms. This utility can be run from a USB stick. Enjoy!

A wonderful tool to help remove applications from your system that are no longer needed. O&O has really made it easier then Windows Program and Features to remove software, especially Windows apps that are never used. The program doesn't require installation and so just click on it to run. Also, recovering extra disk space is always a plus. ;) Two-Thumbs Up!

There are several PDF file manipulation programs, most of which are good. PDF Shaper is an example of a very practical program, easy to use and with sufficient and useful features. It stands out as one of the best and it's truly free (without "fine print" and surprises). Congratulations to the developer.

I criticized a previous version of this program because it did not support actual cascading menus, as I required. However, I eventually contacted the author and discussed this and several other issues with him, and he put a significant amount of effort into improving the program... it now has options for true WindowsXP-style cascading menus, and many other options as well. I was incredibly impressed with how much effort he put into updating the program for my requirements, and we had several useful discussions about various aspects of how the program might operate. I highly recommend this program now!

Unlike other free PDF file producers, doPDF includes an Add-in for Microsoft Office, which allows you to integrate hyperlinks. When I am in Word for example I can make hidden links on images to YouTube pages which it is impossible to integrate with PDF24. The other way to integrate hyperlinks is LibreOffice and to export a Word document to PDF but this is a larger download.

Didn't work too well, in my experience. A bit clunky, missing out various parts of a page. Didn't like the way it was yet another constantly running program, whereas other PDF "printer" drivers don't.

Long time Revo Uninstaller user here, but as my eyes get worse with age I wanted a program with a dark screen and larger fonts. Unavailable, seemingly, in Revo or Absolute or Geek. This has both. Dark under ToolsThemes. I couldn't find anything about fonts under Tools. But then, voila, just the old CTRL-scroll to change font sizes. Fantastic. What's more, a great set of Tools and a deep clean scanclean of program crumbs, like Revo.
