Copy images, not files, to your clipboard Copy-Image is a simple right-click extension for Windows Explorer that makes it easier to copy an image to the clipboard without having to open the file first. Normally, when you right-click on a file and select "Copy", Windows will copy the actual file (path) to the clipboard, so you can paste the file into a different folder. If you want to copy the actual content of the file, e.g the image or text, you'll have to open the file in an editor and then copy the image or text the the clipboard. Copy-Image eliminates this extra step. Simply select "Copy Image" from the right-click menu and the program will copy the actual image to the clipboard, ready to be pasted into other applications.
