search files by name or content FileSeek enables you to search your computer for files that match a specified keyword or string. The program not only searches for matching file names but also scans the content of the files and provides an excerpt of the text containing the keyword. You can use simple keyword searches as well as Regular Expression queries and limit the results to certain folders or file types. FileSeek can optionally be integrated with the Windows Explorer right-click menu for files and folders. The program does not use any background indexing which makes it a little slower than others but does not require it to be running, unless you actually use it. FileSeek installs as a trial of the Pro version, which reverts to the free version after 30 days (You can also switch to the free version at any time from the Options dialog.) The Pro version offers additional features like export, multiple tabs and support for search profiles, which are not required to make full use of the standard search capabilities.
