Don't waste your time 1 stars by gimpguy Aug 29, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
While it's fast with .rar, you can find many many many other apps that handle rar and zip and numerous other formats and are just as fast. Some faster. This would have been great years ago but now? Nah. The interface is horrible in my opinion, just one of those I feel is a waste of time. It's free but so is heartburn. show Review details
Simple 4 stars by SeSorrow Apr 30, 2011 (Read all my 29 reviews)
Just tried version 3.30 and it did everything it claims. Installed in a snap, and quickly opened the first archive I tried to open. I opened a large archive, over 700mb, and it performed quickly and precisely with no corruption. The interface is acceptable, if not very attractive. There are some tabs with advertising the author's other interests, but they are not really obtrusive, after all you don't have to click on that tab if you don't want. As a matter of fact, this is only on the main interface, which you don't see unless you specifically open it. It does not show on the extraction interface. It does not claim to create RAR archives, so I did not rate it for that. Additionally, I do not like the fact that it automatically takes over your RAR file associations without a means to prevent it from doing so. The context menu entry is poor, it just says "Extract!" without referring which program it is, which is a problem for me as I have multiple archive tools. All in all a decent little tool for doing exactly what it says and no more, and no frills. show Review details
Was this intended for kids? 1 stars by H82BFat Jan 09, 2010 (Read all my 2 reviews)
The interface is just about the worst you can imagine. It's so bad that the author has to explain how it works right below the childish image of the main window. Intuitive interfaces are less childish and do not need any explanations. The first .rar file wouldn't descompress, same was true for the second, third, fourth, ... So I gave up on this one. It's a real waste of time. show Review details
