It used to be a great program. 1 stars by JoeCotten Jul 15, 2006
I have used Thumbs for a long time... most recently Thumbs 7.0 What a great program it has been over the last year. Then... they sent out notice of 7.0sp1 today... which I downloaded... and imagine my surprise to find out it corrupted all my existing RAW files! I shoot Canon, Nikon, and Fuji RAW. Imagine having all your new (and old) images suddenly adulterated with the watermark of "this image only viewable if you upgrade to ThumbsPlus Professional". All from what appeared to be just a simple FREE update of the original Thumbs 7.0 program. In the guise of providing a refinement to their existing 7.0 program with the 7.0sp1 update, they elected to dispense software that would torpedo all my existing RAW files in order to assure that I would then have to purchase the upgrade to their new "professional" edition of Thumbs. Most unconscionable. show Review details
