It didn't take too long to realize what a gem this is. I've used Dreamweaver on numerous occasions, text editors, html editors but this one, in my opinion, has it right.
It's so easy to use, inserting tables, code, you name it. Such a time saver for me I am actually anxious to create another site for someone. Prior, I would grit my teeth but this eases the pain.
I feel this is far more stable than any I've tried and quite honestly, for free, this is the best I've used.
Max has done a wonderful job and should be proud of this one.

The creator brags that this is the best freeware HTML editor out there - and he's right! At least, if there is a better one, I have yet to find it, and I've tried over a dozen - and uninstalled all of them in dismay, disgust, or disappointment. Either the interfaces are confusing, or they add extraneous code, and are just more frustration than they're worth - even free. HTML Beauty, on the other hand, is sleek, simple, convenient - the Charmap function alone would be worth $$$ but then there are the simple wizards for doing all kinds of things that ought to be easy but aren't in most free (and plenty paid) editors. It isn't true WYSIWYG, but the convenient preview button works better than the unreliable WYSIWYG of other programs. I am a basic-level, self-taught web page maker with a lot of graphics program experience, so this might be a little beyond a just-starting beginner - but then again, maybe not. [/ravereview]
