The only network scanner that you'll need

This is an excellent program that scans not only WiFi but all your Ethernet connections. It's fairly simple for beginners but has a ton of features for more savvy users. It's portable so you can scan anywhere with no need to install just by clicking the .exe file. It's fast and accurate and has no bugs. There are many paid programs that only scan WiFi and this one, being free, is the best network scanner there is.

Been using this program for years. Simple to use but gives fast easy to understand information. Easy way to see the IP address of all devices on your network. Faster than using network places because it shows all workgroups in same window. The program also has many other valuable uses.

It works great, scans ports relatively quickly. It's very easy, free, great interface. Type in the port range and scan, that's all that's to it.

This is a great scanning tool. It works perfectly. The only feature that I'd like to see is a scanning range by subnet option, rather than raw IP range limits. Then, the typical Class C subnet could be preloaded

Network Scanner is a useful freeware program to scan IP addresses in a specified range and display the information in an expandable tree list view. There are additional features such as showing MAC addresses, folder shares and network printers and open port information. This is one of the programs I use as part of my network troubleshooting toolkit. Very recommended.

Downloaded it to capture the assigned IP addresses on my home network. It does that an quite a bid more. Small, fast, and free. What more could you ask for.
