Unlike many softphones, this one is a breeze to set-up, just enter your SIP server address, name and password and your up and running, No complex configurations to wade through, and if your using a router then port forwarding is done automatically. I noticed that Express Talk also registers with the server faster than most soft phones. In day to day use it's is a joy to use, one click to open your address book, one click to dial out, a scrolling log of what the phone is doing is visible beneath the touch pad. Call quality is extremely good, the equivalent of my BT landline. When you add the On-Hold music player, the Answering attendant, and the VR recording system, it's hard to believe it's freeware ... recommend you try it for yourselves, an excellent product!

I am so glad I found Express Talk, I had x-lite, x-pro, but I had only always problems with them, or freezening, or the other sip accounts were not logging on, or the address book were empty after a new start, voice quality low etc.
With Express Talk it is wonderful, it is not using much bandwidth and has an excellent voice quality, and i have configured 4 different sip providers, no problem, easy to access the phonebook, speed dial, call recording etc.
It is a must to try. When I make calls to regular phone from express talk through voipbuster, completely for free, it is like they hear me on a regular phone. Thank you for this wonderful soft phone.
