I don't have a telescope so I can't use it's feature to hook to one, however, using the exploration is good enough for me. I liked the fact there are 3-d views of moons and planets, even panoramic views of some like Mars.
Click on an object, go to that object, very cool, it gives the names, where it is, pictures, doesn't get much better currently. There are even different viewing types you can click on to see it through different telescopes and such, mainly pictures and collections of course but still a very nice addition.
There is far too much to name here, people will definitely have to try it for themselves, but I feel this is the best celestial viewer there is, hands down. I don't think you will be disappointed with it at all. It's free and I hope it remains that way.
