Simple but powerful 5 stars by fronny May 09, 2013 (Read all my 2 reviews)
Been using it since v0.1.6.7 and never had any issues with, it just runs. I've thrown everything at it, URLs, files, programs, folders, partitions, drives excl. the kitchen zink. Just drag and drop, nothing else to do! Beats any similar prog I ever evaluated. show Review details
Little dock that can go all over your place! 5 stars by talapantas Jan 21, 2013 (Read all my 8 reviews)
After I came back frustrated that i can't get my old laptop upgraded to windows 8 to experience it's live tile feature, i stumbled across this little program. to be honest, i felt a little pang of disappointment with its screen preview as I've mistakenly confused it with (cough)RocketDock (cough). To my surprise, it only weighs no more than 200KB and i said there's no way it could be! Maybe just a theme or what? then I downloaded it and to my amazement, it runs on its own. Played around a little bit though it took me some time before I can get the snappy fading animation and now it was set to run on my 3 corners. I left windows 7 taskbar at the bottom so i can see my tray clock, volume and other important stuff. Agree with the guy before me, would be more helpful if it can support drag and drop and I can't wait to see that show Review details
Nice replacement for HMenu 4 stars by kycochise Jan 02, 2013 (Read all my 5 reviews)
I just checked this out yesterday, and found it to be a very nice piece of software. Very easy to set up and does the job it says. The one gripe I have is no drag and drop. If is a little trouble if you want to move a tab from one bar to another. But hopefully the developer will change this in an updated version. Over all, I am very happy with CoolBarz, I may keep this one! show Review details
Love it! 5 stars by gimpguy Aug 29, 2012 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
For one, this is not a fancy shmancy toolbar, it doesn't bounce, glitter, rain, explode or do windows (the kind you have on your home) What it does do is hide itself very well if you choose, has some basic opacity and fade, along with color options as well as position of the bar, text and position, etc... It displays tab formats when adding programs, directories or shortcuts to it so when I move my mouse to my right side of the screen, a few tabs pop out with my shortcuts. Point being, it's more basic but it works flawlessly and integrates great. Again, it's not a flashy memory hog but a great addition to the Windows Desktop environment. show Review details
Very good app launcher 5 stars by raptozilla Jun 11, 2012 (Read all my 26 reviews)
I used to have a similar program called H-Menu. The developer stopped updating it a long time ago, and it really only worked well with Win 98. I have been looking for a decent launcher to replace it but have been unable to find one that worked as well with new versions of Windows. This program is just about the same but is much less complicated, is much easier to use and configure, and uses much less resources than H-Menu did. It's ideal for accessing programs that are not frequently used and, therefore, are not readily available on the Windows start menu; it saves one from having to search through the programs portion of the Windows start menu for those infrequently used programs. show Review details
