WinRAR has proven to be the best functional archiver because virtually everything it does, it does very well. For its modest price, you get a Lifetime license, but best of all, the developer maintains the product well. With 7z extraction in the current version, the next version is set to include 7z creation for those who need it. Every system needs a good archiver, and WinRAR is a good investment that continues to set the standard among the field.

HotKeyz is freeware, not shareware. Although I've moved on to AutoHotkey which does far more, HotKeyz is perhaps the best of the rest of the targeted hotkey apps. Good interface design, lots of flexibility included and options available to make sure your keys are accurate and unconflicted. It even does hotstrings and lets you print out a list of your hotkeys for reference. Brilliant!

NeoDownloader continues NeoWise's great tradition of building quality, fast apps for what people want. While others throw in the the kitchen sink, NeoDownloader downloads any file with serious speed and ease. I love it.

TaskTracker is perhaps the ultimate time-saver on your computer, and will never let you misplace another file or wonder when you last worked on it. It provides an ingenious interface and a way to access and keep track of any file you've worked on throughout the day (or longer). One of the most useful utilities you will ever have, I promise.
