Rainlendar Lite Rainlendar Lite

Almost there 3 stars
I want to push the programmer to take Rainlendar to the next level. There are a number of shortcomings in the user interface, and performance. Rainlendar also crashes periodically when trying to enter new data. It's a pretty good product, but does not have the professional finish I like on something that potentially gets constant use. Slide Show Pilot Slide Show Pilot

Best of the lot 5 stars
For a client, I just reviewed a number of slide show programs, including the Corel product that came with the Dell, the Olympus product that came with the camera, and several from SnapFiles. The others from SnapFiles used their own interfaces - bad idea - but this, while perhaps not the most powerful product (I don't know, I didn't try them all) has all that's necessary for basic slide shows, and creating exports (CD, VCD, etc - a key feature for the client). The big, Big, BIG deal for me is ease of use. If you have some clue using a Windows interface, this is the thing. For pros there's an interesting feature: You can save the slide show to a single executable with an optional expiry date. Great for events, and giving away promos. Price: Free Trial ($39.00)
