Technically, it is freeware, because it doesn't have to be paid for. However, the software does require free registration. My registration did not work for some reason. I entered my e-mail and received a registration number, but when I tried to register the software by entering my name and registration number, the text fields simply cleared out and nothing happens. I couldn't get it to register and the features are unavailable, until free registration is complete -- registration that does not work. Price: Free

Just a wonderful all-around product. It has worked great for me without any flaws. Easy to use, fast and effective...the interface could use a serious makeover, but hey, who cares what a (free) product looks like when it performs better than expensive retail/commercial ones. Price: Free

Maybe I'm just an overall Microsoft hater, but this program is great. It offers much better sound quality than WMP and looks much better. I have been using it the past couple of years and it has never failed me (a few crashes when launching some software that its incompatible with, but thats normal for a lot of software). I wish they would update this, but it is great, as is. Price: Free
