Works great with huge files 4 stars
I was searching for a text editor which is able to handle huge files (over 50 MB) and I am happy that I found Ultraedit. This editor works great with huge files and offers you almost all functions that you expect from a professional editor. Only negative thing is, that it is kind of slow at startup. Not useable, if you have thousands of files 2 stars
This tool works fine, if you use it with small to average amount of files. However, I tried it with about 800.000 files (small 2-3 KByte files) and it worked only fine, to find the dups. It was not possible to delete them, or make any serious automated selection for deletion. Also, there were a number of exceptions during execution, so I can not recommend this tool. Price: Free
