Good side: -Good detection rates -Free antivirus solution for home users -doesn't hog your system(like Norton) -Automatically updates to newest definitions -easy to use -I had a virus that even Norton couldn't find and avast removed it successfully. Downside: Maybe that it doesn't have a web scanner but that isn't necessary if you use Mozilla. One of the best solutions in the market and free. Price: Free
