Advanced Searchbar Advanced Searchbar

Offers so much 4 stars
This toolbar puts the world on your browser. A hundred plus search engines, what's going on in your town, radio stations, 80+ games, a calendar, local task shortcuts (my favorite is turning the screen saver on) plus more features than you can imagine. If that isn't enough, there is a feature to make as many of your own buttons as you want - to go to websites, or even better, launch any program on your computer. However, it may be overwhelming to some at first because the settings panel can be cumbersome. But, after you get it set up just the way you want it (extremely customizable) - you will wonder how you got by without it. I've come to depend on it. Price: Free

Quero Toolbar Quero Toolbar

Best kept secret !! 5 stars
The Quero toolbar has an amazing array of tweaks to make IE7 more comfortable and to your liking. Included in those are a wide selection of search engines, pop-up blocking, ad removal, flash blocking, and even a "suspicious character warning -(phishing)". These are just a few of the seemingly endless tricks this toolbar performs. What really amazed me is that it actually changes the layout of IE7's odd navigation toolbar. It returns to forward / back / refresh / stop / home buttons on the left, the address bar and then the search box and the end. Not only that - it supports themes and supplies you with the directions to create your own. I only happened on this feature because of one of the screenshots here. I have always regarded the navigation bar to be cumbersome at best. If you feel the same way, this is the fix. If not, you should still check out this toolbar. It offers plenty of other options I have not seen before. Price: Free

IE New Window Maximizer IE New Window Maximizer

Solves a nagging microsoft problem 4 stars
With each release of Internet Explorer, I am amazed that the browser does not open fully maximized. It's ridiculous. Every other browser that I have used (a lot) opens and reopens fully so you aren't pushing the maximize button all day. I thought for sure (why?) when IE7 came out, that "feature" would be FINALLY fixed. Well, of course it was not. Thank goodness we have the IE New Window Maximizer. Whenever I reformat my hard drive or get a new computer, this little program is one of the first to be installed. I have used it for years and have never had a problem with it. I also love the hot key combination that closes all open windows at once. Great program! Price: Free

ieSpell ieSpell

It`s checking me now! 5 stars
IeSpell is a top-notch add-on for IE7, since it does not have built-in spell-checking like Firefox. It is perfect for message boards, support forms, comments, reviews and much more. This is one of those "I Can't Believe It's Free" programs. In fact, it spell-checked this review. =) Price: Free
