This kind of functionality should have been a part of Windows originally. To have a Calendar pop up when hovering over the date/time corner in Windows. Very nice! Price: Free

Great interface, no unicode support 3 stars
Compared with "OverDisk," JDiskReport is slow. Took 4-5 times as long to scan the same drive. JDiskReport has many different ways of looking at the statistics. Great interface. However, I need something with Unicode support to show Japanese file names. OverDisk doesn't have Unicode support either, it's just a lot faster. Additionally, Overdisk shows multiple folder layers at the same time, JDiskReport only shows one folder at any given time. Price: Free

Great cleaning utility 4 stars
This is a powerful and effective disk cleaning utility. There is even an option for cleaning out IE's index.dat files. You have to go to Options > Show Status Window to get a report of what activity has taken place when you execute a cleaning. (I think that should be enabled by default.) It would be nice to see how much space I am going to clear when I choose to clean out a certain area. Price: Free

Small and effective! 4 stars
This is a great application. Just unzip the folder and run. No installation required. It is very small in size, and does exactly what it says it does. You can graphically view how much space the folders and files on your disk are taking. As you click on subfolders, you can then immediately view the piechart breakdown of their space usage. My only wish is that it could display unicode characters properly, so that it could be used with Japanese and other languages. For those who need this check out Scanner by Steffen Gerlach.
