Very good doggie

This works, but it is best to upgrade to the plus feature, which is also free, you just have to register for it. It actual has helped me know some of the things I may have deleted if not for them saying it was for this or that. It actually explains these things that have weird PC names. Plus the dog has a cute woof too. Keeps my start up clean and lets me keep on top of anyone adding to my startup I dont want. And cleaned it up of junk when I started using it too. Price: Free

Great stuff

This works better than anything out there, it has everything you need and has the simple interface that makes it a ease to use. Great software, keeps the PC clean and running without junk. The tracks eraser is the best internet cleaner around. I use every night just before I turn off my PC. Price: Free

VIPRE Antivirus

Not good enough to recommend

Has problems: it does updating of definitions all the time, and no matter how much I try to set a time for it, it still does it whenever. And if it does have a problem with the updating of definitions it will tell you that you are unprotected, which is worrisome. If you are looking for support, forget it. Wrong company for that. They were rude. It quit doing deep scans, and was instead doing quick scans twice sometimes three times a day, tried to get help on that, nothing; then it froze my PC on its interface and was scanning for five hours, I tried everything, finally had to manually unplug the PC, scary stuff. Again, no support, they tried to blame my PC, and other software on my PC, even suggested that I get rid of the other software which I had for years with no problems. First one then another, but after six months of it working with those software it didnt make sense it suddenly had problems. They were no help and were very rude. Price: Free Trial ($79.99)
