NexusFont NexusFont

Top-tier font manager 5 stars
I used this program all through college when I was studying interactive multimedia and it was a real lifesaver. Easiest tool that I've found by far for managing extensive collections of fonts. Price: Free

Winyl Winyl

Not the best, but still my favourite 4 stars
Winyl may not be the most powerful player out there, but it's still my preferred player for home use. The program is very lightweight, extremely easy to use, has Last.FM integration, several internet radio stations, and a very nice interface. The hotkeys, visual popups and overall feel come together to make a very slick and lightweight player. There are some great community-created skins over on the official site as well, for further customization. I've found a lot of more powerful (and more popular) players like mediamonkey or foobar can be extremely cluttered and difficult to use. Not so with Winyl. If you don't require an insane amount of features for power use, consider giving Winyl a look! Price: Free
