If you have many e-mail accounts and want one place where you can keep tabs on them, and get clearly notified by changes (a feature ridiculously lacking from software like Mozilla Thunderbird), this is a nice piece of software.
One problem is that it has the annoying habit of often taking a LONG take before properly loading an email message.

Evernote is a powerful and feature-rich piece of software for organizing your many notes (which can just as easily be articles, web pages or other resources). Sometimes the UI can be a bit cluttered though, but i wonder if that is really avoidable with feature-rich software like this. Either way i think it is the best of its kind, certainly since it is free.

I don't know what happened, but what was once part of the free version (firewall functionality) now no longer seems to be, and I'd have to upgrade to get it again. To hell with that.
