tweak Firefox settings Configuration Mania makes it easy to apply popular Firefox tweaks without having to manually edit the about:config file. The program organizes a variety of popular settings into categories and provides simple buttons and check boxes to apply them. The program only includes tweaks that are supported by the standard about:config settings and applies them directly to Firefox. You can right-click on any setting to reset it to the default value or get more information from the MozillaZine Knowlege Base. Once installed, you can access Configuration Mania from the Firefox "Options" menu. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Very handy, reasonably safe for all users 5 stars by Harlan May 15, 2015 (Read all my 69 reviews)
This is "just" a GUI to the FF settings, but included in that is a well-organized interface, a reminder of the many settings that are available, and appropriate safety warnings. I used it to allow SSL security, which FF disabled by default and thereby locked me out of most of my financial and merchant accounts. While I was in there, I tweaked several other settings. Each tweak was a minor improvement, but together they made FF more pleasant for me to use, and I wouldn't have even thought of most of them had they not been presented so conveniently. show Review details
It works 5 stars by gimpguy Mar 25, 2013 (Read all my 1159 reviews)
While I did get tired of accessing the settings through about:config, this program has more than enough of everything for me and much easier to access and use. Definitely worth a 5 in my book. show Review details
