copy an image to the clipboard without opening it Copy Contents is a simple right-click extension for Windows Explorer that makes it easier to copy the content of an image or text file to the clipboard without having to open the file first. Normally, when you right-click on a file and select "Copy", Windows will copy the actual file (path) to the clipboard, so you can paste the file into a different folder. If you want to copy the actual content of the file, e.g the image or text, you'll have to open the file in an editor and then copy the image or text the the clipboard. Copy Contents eliminates this extra step! Simply select "Copy Contents" from the right-click menu and the program will copy the content of the selected image or text file to the clipboard, ready to be pasted into other applications. The program supports plain text files and image files (jpg, pcx, png, bmp, tga, gif and tif). Copyright Snapfiles.com
