remove hidden info from .doc files Doc Scrubber allows you to view and optionally remove the hidden information contained in Microsoft .doc files. The information contains your registered name, editing time, revision information with names of users that have edited the file and more. While this information can be very useful for internal purpose, it may not be appropriate for distribution. DocSrubber allows you to scrub the file(s) and output a clean copy, or you can choose to overwrite and replace the originals. While this isn't some amazing software with a gazillion options, it does one thing well, allows you to view all data from a word file. Sort of interesting to see what's attached to some older doc files and to scrub it out if need be. I wish it had this for more file formats, then it would really be a great software. Right now, it's OK.
