Win 11 2024 still works great!

I'm using Windows 11 in 2024 and this software is still amazing! I've never tried it before, but I needed something and almost bought a program. This one is free. I almost didn't try it since the last reviews were in 2011. Since it works great, I thought I'd leave a review in case anyone else was leery about trying it.

Used this on a new laptop after uninstalling the bloatware left some errors. Easy to use, very fast scan. Reinstall of the laptop went smooth. Used "Device Manager" and just pointed at the main backup folder but just discovered there is a restore function in the software as well (!). Will try that next time. Check this one out.

I use DD all the time and it's an awesome driver backup utility. It's very easy to use in my opinion, select drivers, backup to place of choosing, select backup type like structured folders, etc... and viola, done. This is most useful if you have to reinstall and have a system, perhaps OEM that makes it extremely hard to get drivers for, you back up your drivers first to another media and when done installing, restore the drivers. It's saved me so much time when I do re-installs for me or others, I can't say enough about it.
