For the most part, DVD shrink would back up near any DVD prior, that's no longer the case but hey, it's been great, free and in the past, a life saver. DVD shrink is much more than simple DVD backup, with editing, play back, and many other features. I do like the open .iso image "when chosen from the menu" where you can take an .iso image that's too large for a standard 4.7 and shrink it down to fit. It has a fine number of authoring capabilities too, backup,choose to save as .iso, burn to dvd, done, playable. Look through options for DVD-9 as well. There is more than meets the eye to this program. I've had this program for as long as I can remember, quite a few years now and sure, you can't back up everything but again, it's great for working with images or backups even from other sources. I wouldn't leave this off my PC, ever. show Review details

Used to use this all the time after ripping my owned DVD's to files. This will shrink them to the right size for your DVD-R and DVD+R discs. show Review details
