duplicate file finder Find Equal Files enables you to find duplicate files in a given folder and optional subfolders. You can limit the scan to certain file extensions and also instruct the program to only scan the first X megabytes of a file, which can be useful if your folders contain very large files. The scan results will show all the files that have duplicates along with the location of each clone. You can then choose to delete selected files or replace them with a shortcut or symbolic link to the original.
