share files directly without a cloud service FileDirect makes it possible to share files without having to upload them to a third party cloud service, instead the user downloads the file directly from your computer via the FileDirect service. To share a file, simply drag and drop it onto the GUI and FileDirect will generate a download link that you can use to share access to the file. There are options to automatically invalidate the link after a certain number of days or downloads as well as a password protection option. From the "Shared Files" tab, you can keep track of your currently shared files, view their expiration dates (if any) and also the number of downloads they received.
