application launcher Radian is a simple application launcher with a unique interface design. It hides out of the way until it is triggered by a continuous right-click anywhere on your screen. This brings up a small launchpad which provides access to the 4 slices of the circular interface, each representing a category in which you can store shortcuts to applications or documents. Radian works anywhere on your screen, allowing you to access the shortcut menu from within any application without having to change focus or move your mouse. Once you have selected an application to launch the interface will go back into hiding mode. Other features include customizable colors, drag & drop support, automatic import from Desktop and QuickLaunch and more. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Fits a critical niche for me 5 stars by BillSchneider Feb 18, 2010
Radian fits a critical niche for me: I like to have my most used programs and files easily and 'visually' available. Few file docking and activating programs really help here. The other best in class might be Rocketdock. What Radian does very well is give you an icon to look at (you drag them to the appropriate spot in the circular grid) and then, like other programs similar to Radian, you click on the program or file and it opens appropriately. Radian hits another sweet spot; it doesn't take over your screen. Holding down the right mouse button brings up a 'hint' of the program, the inner 'Ring' with arrows on it. Then drifting your mouse (the right button is still down!) to one of the arrows (left, right, up down) brings up the quarter grid with three more rings that hold your varous icons. Did I say Very cool? What Don't I like? I'd like another ring to populate with more programs. This can grow on you very quickly! show Review details
