Once you open the program, it will show a list of all current startup entries, along with their startup type, size, folder location and other details. The entries are color coded to identify new, essential, obsolete or potentially malicious (Trojan Horse) items. In addition to common startup entries, StartEd Lite also allows you to manage your Windows Services. To make it easier (and safer) to manage services, the program automatically highlights services that are essential, new, obsolete, very important or safe to disable.
