move your Steam games to a different drive Steam Mover makes it easy to move your Steam games from the default "steamapps" folder to a different location. To make sure that your games will work from the new location, the program automatically creates junction points that link the relocated files to your Steam folder. The Steam Mover interface shows a list of all the games in your Steam library as well as their actual location and size. You can easily move games back and forth between drives, which can be useful if you want to run frequently used games from a faster (but smaller) SSD drive and keep others on a storage drive. Once your games have been moved, you can run Steam and play your games as you normally would. Note: Junction Points can only relocate complete folders, not individual files. So unfortunately Steam Mover cannot not help with massive .gcf files in the steamapps folder itself (mostly Valve games such as Counter-Strike and the Half-Life series). Copyright Snapfiles.com
