e-mail client The Bat! is an email client that protects your information through multiple encryption streams, with the option to keep all information encrypted on you disk, and to protect emails during communication using end-to-end encryption (E2EE). The program can work without global email providers that keep your messages in the cloud, where they can be stolen. It keeps your emails on your computer to make them private. The Bat! also blocks malicious code and tracking pixels that spread via email. The Bat! is able to process and store an unlimited number of messages and has no restriction on the number of email accounts accessible via IMAP, POP, MAPI protocols. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Best email client. 5 stars by Edu_SS Dec 28, 2011 (Read all my 7 reviews)
I used a lot of free email clients in my life: Thunderbird, Foxmail, Pegasus, Dreamail... Thunderbird and Foxmail, I used them for years. They are very stable and powerful programs, but requires tons of RAM to run. The Bat is very powerful, very easy, very pretty and only requires a bit of RAM to run. It's very light. Special program. show Review details

Among the best 5 stars by TwoEars Apr 25, 2007 (Read all my 26 reviews)
It has everything needed except 1) scripting language for advance use and 2) HTML templates (templates currently only allows plain text). Apart that it is very stable, open (many import/export for e-mails/contacts), and easily transportable (backup/restore the database is a snap). One can regret the lack of communication of its developers. Also, no cross-platform but Windows only. show Review details
