Unlike the Windows copy/xcopy commands, RoboCopy supports multi-threaded operations and can copy file data and attributes correctly. It also tolerates network interruptions (resume copy), offers mirror modes, can skip identical files, and more. RoboCopy comes included with Windows and can be accessed from the command-line if you are familiar with the proper syntax and commands. WinRoboCopy makes this easier by offering a simple front end that allows you to take advantage of RoboCopy without having to fiddle with the command-line.
