multiple taskbars for multiple monitors zBar is a small utility for multi-monitor systems that places a taskbar on each additional monitor and moves the program icons from your main taskbar to the taskbar of the monitor where the programs are being used. You can choose from different taskbar styles, show or hide the clock, and also stack two rows of buttons on the same taskbar. Other features include keyboard hotkeys to move windows between monitors and an option set set individual wallpapers for each monitor or to span one image across all your screens. This works flawlessly, and doesn't hog resources. It doesn't seem to display the actual Windows taskbar, but has Win7-style window preview and a nice calendar if you want it. If you want the taskbar on one monitor but not another, zBar does it well and for free. show Review details

This is a very simply utility that performs as described. I do not have another product to compare it to because I have been satisfied from the onset. I configured it, chose the type of extra task bar I wanted and that's it. show Review details
