This came highly recommended to me by a couple of people. I installed it expecting far more accurate information than it actually provided, especially in regard to the highly touted ability to provide license key information. Thinking that perhaps it was related to the specific machine that it was installed on, I therefore gave it a try on some other units, with completely erratic results. I can therefore not recommend it outside of something to "play with". I agree with what Rodger mentioned, regarding the installation requirement vs running as a portable app.

I have removed the program off my computer after giving it a fair test. It doesn't do anything that cannot be achieved by the default tools which are supplied with Windows and the other program disks and features. I though it was cluttered and annoying for what little good it produced.

Yep, Belarc Advisor has always been a great audit
eport tool. It's not one I would use all the time though and I don't feel this is as good as others. It's still great and can't say too much against it. It's just not what I like in this type of software.

This is perfect for anyone who works on computers. I have used this many times to get the exact configuration before I even open the cpu. I have recommended this to many of my co-workers.

If you are fixing to format your drive and want to make sure you remember all your software downloads this is a perfect way. If your memory is anything like mine the info needs to be on paper....

First it has to be installed-why? Make it a standalone application like Winaudit(on snapfiles) who wants to mess around with installing something you will use maybe twice a year-am I missing something here ??
