Very good news ticker and scrolling news feed

I use a lot if different applications every day, and am always looking for tools that are better, lighter, faster and more reliable while also supplying me with better data. I also love the "news", which I regret. So I needed a scrolling, configurable news ticker that I could run on my pc that would let me feed my habit and also make a living doing my work. This product is ideal. I have great latitude on how I want the ticker configured, including the color (or transparency level) of the background so it matches my wall paper perfectly. A small thing but I appreciate that Sector Seven cared enough to include that functionality. Plus, light, clean code. If you need a news ticker scrolling newsfeed, try this first. Nice, but rather large and intrusive

Easy to use, good range of features. However, it does tend to hog the top of the screen. Some more discreet display options might be welcome. (Editor: You can change font sizes and display options and thereby reduce the size of the ticker significantly and/or blend it into your desktop.)
