Microsoft decided to omit this feature in Windows 7, because it believed that some people find animated tray icons distracting. This may be true, but omitting the feature to monitor network traffic in the tray altogether was a mistake. Now the feature can be restored with this small (146 kb) program, which is no-install. Definitely recommended. show Review details
