Worked when the best rated program didn't

I needed to re-download pictures from my camera SD card after they go corrupted on my hard disk. Recuva couldn't find them even though I knew they had to be there. Puran File Recovery successfully found them all because it supports exFAT cards while Recuva does not. While I rate both programs 5 stars, Puran did save my pictures.

In the past I tried many other products. Some of them did not run at all. Some of them ran but there was no proper result. Certain others had tabs that selected nothing. You could not differentiate between a physical and logical disk. This Puran software is very simple to use and just runs. This morning I deleted a file accidentally. With this software recovering the file undamaged was a breeze.

Accidentally, I erased my camera's memory card. I really did not worry much at the moment, knowing that there are very capable recovery tools out there and having successfully used some of those on various occasions. Using my 1st line recovery tool, I "recovered" much of what had been erased. However, when I tried to open the recovered files, none of them opened. They were all useless weight. Panicking, I went to other recovery tools. One by one they failed to recover my files. After trying 6 different tools and feeling defeated, I went to Snapfiles and searched for other recovery tools. With a "what the heck, I've nothing to lose" attitude, I downloaded Puran File Recovery. To my delight and satisfaction, this free tool did the trick. It recovered all my files. Better yet, they all open correctly in a functional, working manner. Great work, Puran.

Tested this out on a formatted drive, 490 gig partition. Did a deep scan, took a long time, very normal and not real long considering it brought back 260,000 files and folders. No way I was going to recover them all so I did recover a large batch of them and they all work. I was very impressed by it. I don't judge by micro devices or such due to the fact numerous softwares will recover these easily and are a dime a dozen (not that it's not a great perk of course) but when you take a formatted drive that's been written to many times, then I'm impressed. Great job Puran.

Excellent programme

I had a microsd card used in an Android phone and suddenly it became unreadable. The file system was completely destroyed but Puran recovered all files in a reasonable time. The recovered files were automatically placed into folders based on their type. Very easy to use and effective software.

The program was easy to use and recovered files from a flash memory device and hard drive without any problems. After the scan, it is possible to search the results or filter them into categories including Pictures, Music and Videos. The performance is good for a free file recovery program and it is recommended.
