Don't bother 1 stars
Interface not intuitive, automatically separates all documents fed into multiple files, for instance when I tried to scan a multipage statement, I got a separate file for each page, instead of a single file containing all pages. Could not find how to change that. The preview you get of scanned images is the size of a postage stamp, and cannot do anything with it. I set the scanner to save files to a specific folder, but could never find the files once scanned. Oh, and it locked up twice, could not even get it to quit through task manager... uninstalled. Best duplicate finder out there 5 stars
I am so glad that the programmers updated this program so that it works with windows 7. I actually was spending a lot of money keeping my old computer working, just so that I could still use this program! I have tried every other program I could find to see if I could come up with a replacement for dup detector to work with the new OS, and I will tell you that no other program comes close in ability of finding duplicates, or thoroughness. A previous reviewer stated that you could only find 1000 duplicates at a time, this is not so if you go into the options menu, you can set that number as high as you like. My only gripes with this program is that it is a bit slow, and the program stops working if you are using the automatic delete, and don't minimize the program before doing anything else on the computer. Otherwise LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Price: Free

Easy, simple useful program 5 stars
For what it does, this program works excellent. I often use it when I de-frag or do some other time consuming operation, that needs not further input from me, I set the computer to defrag, set switch-off to turn the computer off in 3 or 4 hours, and it shuts the computer down for me, I don't need to babysit the system.
