So fast, I had trouble believing it 5 stars
I'd copied a few hundred files from an iPod, all the files were named with 4 letter names. Useless to me. I fired up ID3 renamer and I was done in less than a minute. I think the renaming operation actually took about 3 seconds for 127 files. Out of those, only 10 or so had bad tags. I had to rename those by hand. I can't tell you how much time this little freebie has saved me and will continue to save me. If there's a better freeware tool for this out there, it can't be much better. Price: Free

I couldn't find anything wrong with this program. Just download, unzip, and execute. Will run from any drive including portable drives. Just don't forget your passwords! Price: Free

Arovaxshield and explorer crashes 4 stars
I am running WindowsME and Avast AntiVirus. I installed ArovaxShield and shortly after starting it apparently caused continuous crashing in Explorer. I was not able to exit Windows normally so I powered down and tried again. Same thing second time. Finally I booted into safe mode and was able to remove Arovax. After that everything was fine. The program looks very good and it has a simple interface. I'm sure it works fine for some people but it sure didn't work for me. Don't let my review keep you from trying this. It looks like it could be a winner once they get a few bugs worked out, and you may not have any problems with it on your machine. Price: Free
