Don't bother paying for the big names 5 stars
I used Paint Shop Pro for years, and I tried to use Adobe Photo Shop as well. This little program beats 'em both hands down! It's not memory hungry, but still has the same features of Paint Shop, AND they're easier to locate and use! I absolutely love this program. Download it, and offer them money too! Price: Free

If n*ro and w*ndows media player had kids... 4 stars
The look and feel is very reminiscent of both Nero and Windows Media Player, but I must admit they managed to combine the best features of both programs. Interface is simple and easy, very straightforward, click-and-drag with a big, bright "burn" button at the top. It's not all that memory hungry as far as I could tell, and the burn time was much better than either Nero OR Windows Media Player. Price: Free
