DeepBurner Free DeepBurner Free

An excellent program that does what is says 5 stars
As previous statements, I have used a number of CD/DVD burners, especially Nero 6 and 7. I have found DeepBurner to sizzle my CDs flawlessly. I just purchased DB Pro that works with Video DVD as well as it does a professional job without software conflicts or buggy actions. A great program. Once you try the free edition, you will whip out the cash for the pro version. Price: Free

Screen Calendar Screen Calendar

A good program but some issues... 2 stars
Yes it does have a number of features and customizations but it frequently does not update the data with Outlook (even when performed manually. Also there is an issue with the 'notes' feature - unable to be activated when hovering over the date on the calendar. I hope these issues are addressed in a future version. For now, I have replaced SC with DeskTask that functions with a hitch. Price: Free Trial ($24.95)

Calendarscope Calendarscope

A good calendar program but needs a bit more 3 stars
Although it is very colorful, MS Outlook has a few features that I feel CalendarScope (CS) could have: (1) CS could develop a detailed 'Today' page w/ colorful summaries of the tasks and calendar. (2) Further development of the DS Clock program to read more data from CS to list a summary of upcoming events and (3)I feel it needs a bit more than calendar function if it is going to sync with Palm-OS, like a Contacts or Notes section.
