It does not boast the most beautiful interface in the world but this must surely be one of the 'big ones' when it comes to image management. Currently going through a beta stage for a the next update phase this program offers scripting and lots of plug-in possibilities. Used by many pro photographers this has proven reliable, flexible and dedicated to the task. An active user forum adds useful support. Well worth checking out!

Effective, powerful, reliable, robust and with fantastic support. This is a 'must have' back-up tool that is bloat-free yet feature-rich!

I have recently looked at 20-30 PIMs and organizers in the search for something more 'interesting' than EssentialPIM Pro which I already own. The EPIM interface is quite tired and dull (at least for me)! Despite that I have come to the conclusion that it's features (uses little memory, does what I need from a PIM, quick to navigate, totally reliable and can run from a USB flash drive) make it an essential program! I am really disappointed not to have found anything to beat it - but happy that I actually own it. Indeed, version 2 will be released soon that promises a new interface so there is something to look forward to. Brilliant!

In the course of personally looking at 20-30 organizers and PIMS I so wanted to use this. Unfortunately the demo version repeatedly kept converting databases to 'read only' (the first time I had encountered this in my investigations of PIMs). As far as I understand this is not a restriction of the demo version, confirmed by their support team who replied to my 'bug' report by saying they 'could not reproduce this' and the query was 'closed'! So the features are impressive (including individual lockable notes)but the support available is less than helpful. If I am to trust my data to a program I want to know that program is trustworthy and won't fail by locking a database.
Having spent several days trying to resolve the 'read only' database error I have now given up (sadly because I so wanted this to work). Their web site has been unobtainable for two days as well! Great potential, but poor support!
