Dr Web found a trojan on my laptop. The trojan caused operational issues with the firewall stability and AV and Malware programs. Scanning with other programs found nothing. I tried many as you can see. Dr Web did the job where the others failed. To be fair to Threatfire it knew something was a miss as it did advise `very high risk`, but it could not identify or kill it. Also the trojan was clever and stopped Threatfire starting when I rebooted many times. My firewall and AV Mal progs are now stable again. Many thanks to the developer. Price: Free

Worked well on my XP SP2 laptop. Registry results found more than the next best Free app I used before. Preboot optimization works well. The interface is very clear and easy to use. It backs up before cleaning so if any issues happen you can restore. However, all was fine after cleaning. My laptop certainly booted a little quicker. Thanks to the developer. This is an App I will certainly use from now on. Price: Free

I tried this APP on my XP SP2 Dell laptop, HP desktop and Packard Bell desktop. I have to admit I am not sure this App is ready at present. All three machines behaved the same, OK one minute then slow and on two machines a complete halt. When the APP was removed from all three PCs stability returned. Free though. Thanks to the developer. I have used a number of registry Clean/ Fix programs and all have performed well. This is by far the most in deapth scan of the registry of any program I have run, finding much,much more. I like the fact that before the fix, it auto creates a restore point so you can restore to a previous Registry set up (not needed to). I have had no ill effects from choosing to Fix all problems found. I have now installed this on 3 desktops and 1 laptop. The program found plenty to fix on all machines and all run very well after. This software does exactly what it said it would. My old P3 256ram Win2000 laptop (work PC) works very well, I perform regular maintenance routines. I thought my PC was the best it could be due to its spec. I have tried many MEM optimizers with mixed results. However, I installed this GEM of software and my broadband responds twice as fast, the program response is almost twice as fast and the PC is stable. If you have limited RAM/ Pentium version this will INJECT NEW LIFE into your PC. It is very easy to set up, you simply 'APPLY' each field ie. RAM, INTERNET SPEED etc. The INTERFACE is easy to use, and its FREE. Very well done to the developer. Highly recommended! Price: Free
