Comodo Internet Security Comodo Internet Security

Fantastic program, more interactive than most 5 stars
I've tried AVG and ANTIVIR as freeware protection. This program seems to give you a higher degree of protection, but involves a little more interaction with the extra protection. For example, on occasion a program install will not work properly, and I have become accustomed to immediately going to Comodo to see if it is blocking the install. The difference is Comodo will tend to disallow things by default, where other programs allow by default. If you want the extra default protection, a fantastic freeware choice. Price: Free

OpenOffice OpenOffice

Using for years, meets all my needs 5 stars
Open office is a great, versatile and stable product. Reads and writes in MS format so you can continue to exchange with those who have not been told of, or refuses to try software which works great. You can also set it to use MS format as it's default. Make the transition and stop contributing to the Bill-Gates-Richest-Man-In-the-World fund. Price: Free

PDF-XChange Viewer PDF-XChange Viewer

Better than Adobe and Foxit 5 stars
I stopped using adobe years ago and started using Foxit. Lately; Foxit has become difficult for me to edit forms, causing me to waste hours of time trying to get it to work. I gave PDF-xchange a try, and am really satisfied with it's performance. I will be sticking with it. Highly recommended. Price: Free
