This software has been around for quite some time and is good for computer protection although the free version does not have the real-time protection, auto updates, etc. but since it is free people should not mind having to do that manually. Once updated and put in scanning mode it can go to work for you and help protect your computer from malware that has become so overly invasive and a real threat that it is often hard to remove. There are no hard learning curves with this product! It is very easy to use and well worth the download! Price: Free

NoScript started out with some problems but has progressed to becoming much more stabilized. The latest upgrades show much improvement and can help users to stay afloat and fight rogue websites, etc. that want to become invasive on your computer. Overall, it is a very good product that should be used if you care enough about helping to protect your computer from invasions in JavaScript that can be shielded and fought off. Price: Free

I have been using WinPatrol for a number of years and have not been disappointed! It has always warned me when other programs want to appear in the Start menu with the option to disallow them to. It also allows one to stop a program or remove it if the need arises. Overall, this is a great product that has many great features to list here and has always worked as expected and more!
