Really bad user interface, its way too complicated even for the simplest commands. There are free editing programs with much better usability. Nerdish program made by nerds for nerds. Could be a great software but the terribly designed user interface kills it. Price: Free

Very good freeware audio editor 4 stars
Recording only works on Windows 10 when the microfone is enabled for apps and desktop-apps under "settings" - "privacy" - "microfone". When you cant play audio files and get a red cursor line, try to deactivate the audio-input and press play again. All in all the best freeware audio editor. Price: Free

I tried the newer Version 2 and i think its crap. Hard to use and incompatible with the very good 1.7-Version. So you better use this older but much more easier-to-use-program to encrypt your files. Price: Free
