An excellent anti-malware program

I used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free for a number of years as a part of my computer protection suite, and believe it's equal to or better than the best. So much so that, after years of good service from the free program I've now gone for Premium, and remain happy with the program's function. A word of warning to the unwary: don't use it with AVG Anti-Virus Free, as AVG will interfere with Malwarebytes. The bottomline is, use Malwarebytes but forget AVG and find a better anti-virus program. Price: Free

AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition

Attacks other computer protection with zen

I've been using AVG Anti-Virus FREE for many years and, in the past is has been good, BUT since the beginning of 2017 it includes an add-in referred to as ZEN, pops-up nag screens repeditively, and now ZEN attacks Malwarebytes Premium by turning off & blocking its Exploit Protection, even though I have Malwarebytes listed as an exception in the main AVG set-up. Although I'd have given AVG Anti-Virus FREE 5 Stars in the past, now I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Price: Free
