It offers different types of actions that let you choose how older and newer files are processed, which files should be excluded (by mask) and more.The program offers standard file comparison based on the date and size, as well as optional MD5 checksum, which will detect even the slightest modifications to files. This is the best program for backing up precisely what you want backed up and ignoring what you don't. I've been using SyncBack for many years and stick with V5.20 on my Win 7 PC. Beginning with V6.0, the footprint of this utility began growing like a mushroom. Since V5.20 does everything I want and need it to do, I simply don't upgrade. show Review details

When my hard drive recently crashed, I lost this program but not my data. When I got back up and running, I couldn't remember the name of SyncBack. It just did it's thing. Finally, I found it again and it's now on my new hard drive doing what it's always done; quietly keeping my data safe. I've been using it for a very long time and even though I'm not familiar with the latest version, my review is based upon a long history of success with it. show Review details
