The program can optionally remove encryption, non-skip ads and region code limitations (make sure that this is legal in your country). If you prefer a physical backup copy, you can easily create one with a 2-step process - first you copy the DVD and save it as .ISO image and then you burn the saved ISO image to a blank DVD by using the included burning tool. DVD ISO Master uses highly efficient processing techniques that allow you to back up an entire DVD in just about 10-20 minutes without quality loss. Other features include error proofing and support for all common protection schemes. The program also includes an ISO mounting tool that can mount your backup image as virtual drive, so you can view the DVD image on your computer without the need to burn it first. Does what it claims

Finally, a DVD to ISO creator that lives up to its claims. Very straightforward to use, fast and removes various disc protections without any problem. Most of my DVD collection has now been backed up and BDLOT hasn't had one failure yet. A definite keeper.

Been using it for about a year and it does what it says. It tends to do better than some with DVDs that may have scratches and such. It is very fast copying DVDs and never had an issue with it yet. It's not the only one I use but this remains on my system no matter what. Can't go wrong.

Works well for backing up purchased DVDs

It copies commercial DVDs that are copy protected. Took about 15 minutes to copy a 90min DVD. Works well for backing up as ISO files to your computer. If you want to burn a DVD copy, you'll need a dual layer burner since most modern DVDs won't fit on a single layer DVD.
